Meet the founder
Hi I am Heather. I’ve always been a hands-on person — someone who loves learning new skills and turning ideas into reality. Creating something tangible and seeing a vision come to life.
As I’ve grown older, been through major life transitions, and seen others experience them too; I’ve realised how powerful and transformative companionship and a sense of achievement are for your mental health and personal wellbeing — especially when facing change.
That’s why I created The Home Project Companion: to give people the confidence to make the changes they want in their homes and lives. I support clients through the decision fatigue and overwhelm that can come with tackling personal projects. Helping them create homes that evolve, helping them regain their confidence and sense of self and satisfaction along the way. Every time I work alongside someone to bring a project to life, I’m reminded that the process itself — the companionship, the problem solving, the shared sense of progress — is what makes it so rewarding.
By the end, we may both feel exhausted, but we’re also energised by what we’ve accomplished together. We learn and grow as we do, leaving you with a home (and a sense of achievement) you’ll love.
